Master Dr. Ko holds two doctorates, one in Bio-Medical Physics
and the other in Electronics-Metrology. In 1976, Dr. Ko discovered and invented the modern medical method of
measuring blood volume in the human body utilizing a laser-augmented
plethysmographic sensor that he designed to fit over the ear lobe. His research
lead to the creation of the modern day heart rate monitors. From 1977 to 1979, Dr. Ko registered and authored three U.S. Patents while at
Boeing Military Airplane Company in Wichita, Kansas. All three of them were
directed toward the technical support of the B-52G and H model terrain-following
and terrain-avoidance capabilities of this strategic bomber. In 1980, Dr. Ko brought Kansas' first Atomic Clock (a Cesium-Beam, Primary
Time and Frequency Standard) to his Primary Standards Metrology Laboratory
(across from the VA Hospital) in Wichita. His laboratory was the only one of its
kind in a five state area that was directly traced to the National Bureau of
Standards (now the National Institute of Standards and Technology) in
Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Naval Observatory (keepers of the U.S. Time
Standard). In 1985, Dr. Ko developed and patented a method of detecting the presence of
oil or gas, stratigraphically trapped below the subsurface of the Kansas and
Oklahoma geology utilizing the natural Magneto-telluric and ELF (extremely low
frequency) electromagnetic fields generated by the Earth. In the following year, 1986, Dr. Ko (in his laboratory), verified the
European and Canadian postulates and theories supporting the fact that we, as
humans, are biologically and psycho-physiologically affected by both electric
and magnetic fields of extremely low frequency. As of June, 2003, Dr. Ko has re-initiated his research in
Neuro-Bio-Electro-Magnetics. This important research work is private and
involves the direct entrainment of brainwaves and neuronal activity in the
Epsilon Neuronal Band (brainwaves below 0.5000 Hertz), Delta Neuronal Band
(brainwaves from 0.5000 to 3.0000 Hertz), Theta Neuronal Band (brainwaves from
4.0000 to 7.0000 Hertz), Alpha Neuronal Band (brainwaves from 8.0000 to 13.0000
Hertz), Beta Neuronal Band (brainwaves from 14.0000 to 30.0000 Hertz), Gamma
Neuronal Band (brainwaves above 30.0000 Hertz), Hyper-Gamma Neuronal Band (above
40.00000 Hertz and up to and including 100.00000 Hertz, and Lambda Neuronal Band
(brainwave activity at 200.00000 Hertz). Dr. Ko is also investigating paranormal
effects and enhancements with pure and very precise gaussian magnetic fields
entraining the brainwave activity in the up-to-now uncharted brainwave regions
(windows) of 3 to 4 Hertz, 7 to 8 Hertz, 13 to 14 Hertz and a specific Gamma
brainwave frequency of 40.00000 Hertz. Dr. Ko has the capability to immediately
investigate the Hyper-Gamma and Lambda brainwave regions and their effects on
consciousness, super-consciousness, and enhanced intelligence. Dr. Ko's methods
are highly proprietary. His methods have never been utilized until now. Patents
for his special process(es) will be applied for. Dr. Ko has the capability to
precisely entrain all neuronal frequencies throughout the entire brainwave
spectrum to a resolution of one (1) microHertz (0.000001 cycles per second). In
order to aid in the support of this leading-edge brainwave research, Dr. Ko
offers his technical services in engineering, consultation, and precision
measurement of ALL electromagnetic fields in homes, business offices, hospitals,
clinics, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, schools, universities, large
corporations, small business environments, and any working environment that may
suspect electric and/or magnetic fields that are being generated above the
thresholds of a biologically and psychophysiologically safe-environment for
humans or animals. In addition to Dr. Ko's ability to precisely measure the
electric and magnetic field intensities of these electromagnetic energy-enriched
environments, he is also immediately capable of performing full spectral
analysis of the measured electromagnetic fields to further identify their
harmonics and, consequently, their biological and psychophysiological
ill-effects. The most immediate concern for adverse exposure to these energy
fields are the power generating fundamental fields of 60 Hertz
(cycles-per-second) and all of its odd and even harmonic frequency components.
If anyone reading this manifesto has an immediate or future need
for Dr. Ko's professional services, please don't hesitate to call him at his
Wichita office: (316) 651-5050 At the age of 8, Dr. Ko, as a young boy, passed an examination by the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) and at that time (1959) was the youngest
licensed ham radio operator in the State of Ohio. His radio station was assigned
the call sign, WA8ZKN. None of this would have been possible without the
guidance and mentoring of some very old ham radio operator's who took him under
their collective wings. Those mentors recognized early on that his natural
talents in understanding electrical and magnetic properties were evident and
stated to his parents that he was a prodigy. Most of these old ham mentors had
always told him that he would be a very unique scientist someday. The points of
ham radio that first sparked the interest of Dr. Ko was to witness the operation
of these old Ham radio operators using Slow Scan Television (SSTV) on the 20 and
40 meter Band as well as Radioteletype (RTTY) being sent and received from all
over the world. So, the art and science of Ham Radio was largely responsible for
Dr. Ko leading into a very early career in electrical engineering,
electrophysics, and electromagnetics. He always seem to know what he was going
to do with his life. The Boeing Military Airplane Company in Wichita was
responsible for bringing Dr. Ko to Kansas from Ohio in 1977. After the transfer
to Kansas took place, Dr. Ko was assigned a new call sign from the FCC as
N(zero)EQS. Today, he holds the Advanced Class FCC License and continues his
radio activity. For the past 20 years, he has focused heavily on the science of
propagation of electromagnetic waves in free space. His favorite and most prized
pioneer in the 1800 sciences is Hermann von Helmholtz. Then comes his student,
Heinrich Hertz. However, all of the giants and pioneering scientists in physics,
such as, Newton, Faraday, Ampere, Coulomb, Volt, Gauss, Watt, Oersted, Weber,
Lorentz, Henry, Lenz, Heaviside, Ohm, Maxwell, Laplace, Poynting, Fourier,
Bessel, Brewster, Kirchhoff, Poisson, Snell, Stoke, Weiss, Einstein, Dirac, de
Broglie, Bohr, Born, Mach, Minkowski, Misner, Planck, Tesla, Schrodinger,
Schwarzchild, Zeeman, Gunn, Misner, Thorne, Wheeler, Sciama, Gribbin, Hubble,
Condon, Resnick, Wangsness, Hayt, and Hawking, have inspired and continue to
inspire Dr. Ko and his lifelong study, research, and practice. Dr. Ko has always
challenged the most difficult and unusual. He was among the few who attempted to
work the first Ham in Space, W5LFL, Astronaut Dr. Owen Garriott, on STS-9
(Columbia) Space Shuttle on December 1, 1983. Dr. Ko has propagated his VHF and
UHF signals through space reflecting off of the northern Aurora Borealis curtain
and passing over the equator to work stations in South America on the 6 meter
Band (50 MHz). He has utilized Tropospheric ducting using 2 meter and 70
centimeter wavelengths. He has utilized two-way communication by scattering
and/or reflecting off of the trail and ionized tails of Meteor showers with 2
and 6 meter wavefronts. He has often utilized Sporadic E cloud propagation on 2
and 6 meter bands. He has even participated in Earth-Moon-Earth (EME)
moon-bounce radio operation on 144 and 432 MHz as well as OSCAR-10 (Orbiting
Satellite Carrying Amateur Radio-second Phase III-B) Mode B operation. On HF (2
to 30 MHz), Dr. Ko has worked many stations around the world on 10, 12, 17, 20,
30, 40, and 80 meter bands, utilizing CW (morse), SSB (voice), SSTV (video), and
RTTY modes. It has truly been an educational experience and enlightening path
for Dr. Ko with his scientific and technical 'passtime' activity over many years
of operation.
Despite his constant submersion into a lifetime of accomplishments in the
fields of Bio-Medical Engineering and Bio-Nucleonics; Government-level Metrology
and Precise Measurement; the applied fields of Electro-Physics and
Electro-Magnetic Geology; and Radio/TV Engineering, Dr. Ko, has always made time
for his intense study and constant practice in the Traditional Martial Arts. In
fact, it was his dedication to the Martial Arts and Science that kept him in
excellent health and fitness during many sleepless nights, 26 hour days, and the
endless duties and responsibilities in the laboratory. It is with this seriousness and dedication, that Master Dr. Ko approaches his
Martial Arts now through his teachings. His training in the martial arts began in 1966 as an Amateur Golden-Glove
middleweight boxer in Ohio. He retired in 1970 with an impressive record of
51/49/26/1/1. Total fights (51), won (49), won-by-knockouts (26), draws (1),
lost (1). His oriental martial arts training began in 1970 with Southern Chinese
Hung Ga Kung Fu (Master) Sifu Po, Chang Yee in Columbus, Ohio. This complete
Shaolin boxing system was patterned after the Tiger and Crane. Master Dr. Ko and his martial arts experience spans over 35 years. He is a
dedicated, full-time martial arts Master Instructor. He has been
certified by many Grandmasters and Sifu to teach these complete, traditional
martial art disciplines and curriculums offered at the Ko Mu Do Kwan (Ko Wu Tao
Kwoon). Master Dr. Ko was conferred and holds the YUK-DAN (6th DAN Black Belt)
from the Korea Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan in Seoul, S. Korea. This
traditional Dan Certificate is dated 15 January 2003 and is signed and sealed by
the second-generation president, Grandmaster Chon, Jae Kyu. He was recommended
for this promotion from his Moo Duk Kwan master, Grandmaster Shin, Soung Eui,
